The qualifications for becoming a technician assistant on the Ashbusters team include being comfortable with being on roofs, possessing valid transportation, having your own transportation to and from work, and being willing to submit to a pre-employment background check. Although having experience in carpentry, plumbing, and/or masonry is not a requirement of employment, it is a huge plus when we are considering the best candidates for the job. When you become a technician assistant with Ashbusters, you will have the valuable benefit of advancing to the position of a certified technician. We like to promote from within our team and will provide you with the best possible training during your one- to two-year apprenticeship period. During this period, you will have the opportunity to become certified by the leader of our industry, The Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). Our owner, Mark Stoner, served as the president of this non-profit educational organization from 2014 to 2017 and is committed to helping our staff reach the goal of certification. Becoming certified by the CSIA will allow you to be a leader on our team with an average annual salary of $65,000.
